Pat and Judy Osborne Robinette

Our guest speakers for the September 12 meeting of the Lee County Historical and Genealogical Society will be Pat and Judy Osborne Robinette.

Pat is the grandson of Oren “O. L.” Robinette, who opened a general store in Blackwater and began selling caskets around 1936. Lifelong residents of the Blackwater community, Pat and Judy are the owners of Robinette Funeral Home. They will share family memories and stories from the history of the funeral home business.

The meeting will begin at 2 p.m. at the LCHGS building, located at 554 Old Friendship Road in Jonesville. We plan to live stream their presentation on our Facebook site.
