The purpose of the Lee County Historical Society is to bring together those people interested in the study and preservation of the history of Lee County.

Location: 
    We are located 
at 554 Old Friendship Road, Jonesville, Va. 24263, in the Old Friendship Baptist     
    Church Building approximately 4 miles west of Jonesville.

Meetings:
    Our meetings are held at 2:00 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month at the Historical 
    Society Building on Old Friendship Road.  You do not have to be a member to attend. Please 
    come visit and bring a friend!

Membership:
    Dues for membership are Ten dollars per year and are payable in January. Lifetime membership is 
    one hundred dollars.

Library and Office Hours:
    Our organization is currently operated by volunteers; therefore we do not maintain regular office 
    hours. However, we will make every effort to make our facility and library available to you by 
    appointment, including evenings and weekends.
